I've wandering around the forum trying to get a conclusive answer about replication times.
This is the scenario:
Essentials Plus Cluster - Three ESXi 4.1 U1 Hosts replicating 2 VM's against a ESXi 5.0 U1 Host over a 1 Gbps link on a Cisco 3750x stack.
The test's so far presented these results:
Using the pre-seed option, two VM's were restored to that host after 3 hours, the larger VM took 2 of them
The actual data transfered was around 100 MB for this VM.
Throughput is around 2 - 3 MB/s

VA's are updated now and Change Block Tracking is enabled for each VM.
After that, i managed to increase throughput to 6 - 10 MB/s but i still believe that's very slow for a LAN connection.
Is the VA the issue here?
