Hello All,
I seem to have a problem with Unix FLR on vRanger Pro 5:
When I select a Unix VM backup and double click it to start a Unix FLR, the following occurs:
a) The Savepoint integrity is checked (OK)
b) The Manifest File is Loaded. "Opening Manifest" progress bar is shown ...
c) The Unix FLR Gui Window opens and, in the left pane (where the catalog should be shown), I see "Loading ..."
(so far, so good ...)
This takes a significant time and then this label changes to "Error : ShellCommandVznLinuxio failed to attach in a timely fashion"
It is then impossible to perform FLR.
Anybody had or has the same problem ?
Any ideas ?

Configuration:
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (all updates applied)
vRanger Pro 5.0.0.19238
vRanger is installed on a bare metal server which is hooked up to a SAN storage via double fiber path.
The backup Repository is located on the SAN (as drive F: on this vRanger machine) on a 800GB LUN.
The F: drive is shared as \\vrangermachine\backup.
vRanger Repository is set as : \\vrangermachine\backup\vRangerBackup
The Unix FLR has been installed according to instructions. It has a static IP and the hostname name has been changed.
The Unix appliance can be sucessfully ping'ed from the vRanger machine. Login and password are correct and tested.
The Unix FLR Appliance is installed as a VM on an machine installed with ESXi 4.1.0, 348481
When the "Configure Virtual Appliance" button was pressed at the end of install, it did not show any error.
I then performed a Full backup of a Linux Machine (after having rebooted the virtual appliance and checked that it was up, running and reachable).
The backup is successful.
