I have vRanger Pro 4.5 installed on a Windows Server 2008 x64 system. I'm unable to execute file level restore. The error I get form the GUI is
Failed to Mount.
Checking the FLR service, I found it stopped. So I attempted a restart and get a service control manager error. From the system log I found the service control manager error, ID 7000 stating "The system cannot find the file specified".
After some checking I found the imagepath key in HKLM\System\CCS\Services\EvmcVddInvs with a wrong value. The value was:
\??\C:\Program Files (x86)\vizioncore\vRanger Pro\Client\FLRService\invsvd.sys
I changed this value with the one I assume correct:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Vizioncore\vRanger Pro\Client\FLRService\invsvd_x64.sys
But the FLR service is still not starting. This time the event with ID 7000 reports
"The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."
