Hi,
I installed vRanger 5.3 and am trying to replicate a VM that I have backed up from a remote location and restored to my data centre (there is a WAN connection in between). This is all done according to the vRanger pre-seeding instructions read in the doco. Now when I run the replication taks, the following log is shown:
[2012-01-06 19:27:28.893]: Change Block Tracking filter created: True
[2012-01-06 19:27:30.955]: Preparing mappings for device 2002 completed.

[2012-01-07 07:33:24.967]: This replication was cancelled, and has now ended.
The problem I have is that the 'rehashing disks' process takes forever and I only have a 12 hour time window to do the first replication.
Is there any way to speed up that rehashing process? Did anyone have similar issues?
Thanks for your response.
Regards,
Alex
