I'm a new user of vRanger, recently i installed vRanger 5.2 in a virtual machine(in VMware Workstation. But when i restored my VM i failed with the Error Message:The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.
My environment infomation:
vRanger version: 5.2
OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
And my OS is in workgroup mode.
vRanger config information:
i add a ESXi 4.1 host with a xp VM in the "My Inventory" area(ESXi is also a virtual machine in VMware Workstation).
i build a ftp site in the outer OS to store the back up files, then add the ftp site into "My Repositories" list.
i can successfully back up the xp VM in the ESXi host, but when i highlight the backed up item and choose restore, vRanger just come out with the error message metioned above and then vRanger exit completely.
Does any one had met with this prolem before? Hope some one could give me a hand, many thanks!
