I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I opened a ticket with quest a while ago and they were not able to tell me what it was or fix it.
Were getting backup failures with Vranger 5.5 running on Windows 2008 R2 when following details are true
1) The VM being backed up has a large vmdk (100 GB+ )
2) The backup repository is a GPT disk
The error generated is as follows
Message: An internal error occurred during execution, please contact Quest support if the error persists. Error Message: 2129 - can't write cifs
The repository has plenty of space and all the permissions are set right as 100 of the other backup jobs work just fine.
If I change the repository to a MBR disk the backup works fine!
Any one have any ideas?
